Some days (more than I'm comfortable with) I'm the dad who says "no" to everything. I need to focus not only on letting my kids experience more of the world for themselves, even if that means cleaning up an extra mess or two, but also experiencing it with them and learning from them. All learning should be cooperative. Life experience should be no different.

i can empathize with you.. :) but kids will be kids, and they have to take in the world and learn all about her and her inhabitants and cultures! and they have so much fun with it too :)
